For a President Through Whom God Strategically Works to Reveal His will for America
Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; He sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.
--Daniel 2:20-22Awesome God, all things are in Your hands—times and seasons, wisdom and knowledge, things hidden and things revealed—You hold them all! Only You are worthy of the praise of our lips, yet we give our praise so readily to those who do not deserve it. O God, Your will is perfect and supreme over all things.
I ask You to raise up the president of Your choosing this year. Work in special and needful ways to bring about Your purposes for our country, Lord, and work especially through the president to accomplish that will. You have been so faithful and true to us, God. May Your will continue to be revealed to us through those who are elected this year. In Your Holy name, Amen.
