I know many of you were not blessed with a godly, honorable father. I was blessed from the moment of conception. My dad was my hero. I remember walking hand in hand with him at our county fair, thinking how proud I was to have him as my Daddy. 

We have a heavenly Father Who loves us even more than my Daddy loved me. We can call Him Abba Father, (Daddy) He wants us to have that special relationship. He wants us to be proud to walk with Him. Take a moment and listen to this song that honors my earthly dad. Even though he went home to Abba Father in December, 1996, his love was and still is felt down through the generations. This song is written and sung by his grandson. 

And even if your earthly dad didn't or doesn't stack up, know that you, through Yeshua, can experience that special bond with Abba Father.

Clothes That Last

My first thought today when reading the title, was how borring to wear the same clothes for 40 years! I cannot even imagine my poor mother, she has about 40,000 pairs of shoes, and she wears all of them! I cannnot imagine her wearing only one pair for 40 years! But on a more serious note, God has provided for us in a more spectacular way than He did in the wilderness for the Isrealites; Jesus has worn the most gruesome of things, a robe dipped in blood, yet it is the most beautiful garment, because it is His blood, and He has let it for us! His sacrifice was necessary so we can wear those beautiful linen garment, clean and sparkling.
Beth said to us: God revealed Himself to His children through His constant care and provision. He still does. In what ways has He recently shown you His heart by providing for your needs?
